The person to whom the letter will be written should be previously instructed that he will have to read the letter after having it drenched with water.

Presentation - Magic trick to write secret letters:
Fill water in a glass or an empty ink-pot and mix a few drops of sulphuric acids with it. Thus, the ink will be prepared. If the quantity of acid mixed is more than required, the letters will not be invisible. So, mix acid having just the accurate quantity. Then, write a letter with the pen made from bamboo dipping its nib into ink. After a few moments, all the letters will be invisible. Now, send the letter to the place concerned. When your friend will read the letter after having it drenched with water, all the letters will be seen obviously.
Scientific Reason behind secret letters:
Why letters written with sulphuric acid are visible in water? How we are able to create invisible letter by using suphuric acid?.The Sulphuric Acid highly absorbs water. So, the letters absorb much water and consequently they are visible again.
