The Game of Thrusting an Egg into The Bottle and Taking Out - Fun Science Idea

Today man can't move a step forward without the help of science. So, science is one of the main subjects in school curriculum but students take it as a dry subject. In fact, our students are not getting science education in a proper way as there is lack of trained teachers, skillful teacher and lack of materials needed for practical.
How far it is relevant to teach science through rote learning, when the saying says practical knowledge is better than theoretical knowledge, one question is always in front of us. Therefore, it is our responsibility to prepare the students mentally for science study with useful skills.
In this Post, we find the use of things around our houses, which are thought useless, can be used for science practicals.
Some of our topic related to these are - Elementary Science Project, Science Project for Kids, Stem Fair ideas, Fun Science etc.

Science Magic of Thrusting An Egg Into The Bottle and Taking Out-

This Science Game (Thrusting An Egg Into The Bottle and Taking Out) can be used to demonstrate  the effect of pressure i.e, atmospheric pressure in relation with external or internal pressure of container. Student can also used to trick their friends at Home, School etc.
Now lets do it Step by Step-

Presentation of the game/magic - Thrusting of an Egg into the bottle:
The bottle will look more funny if it is given the appearance of a man. Everybody will feel the fun when the egg much bigger than the opening of the bottle gets thrusted into it. For, this sprinkle a few drops of kerosene oil over the piece of paper and put them into the bottle. Set fire to them with the match sticks. When the fire gets extinguished after combustion of the pieces of the paper, place the egg vertically on the opening of the bottle. Provided that the smaller (pointed) part of the egg should be placed in the opening. Just after a little while, the egg will enter into the bottle producing a sharp sound. Isn't it a great fun?
Certainly, everybody enjoys a great fun when the egg gets into the bottle. But the game becomes more funny when the egg cannot be taken out of the bottle. Then how to take it out?

Method of Taking Out an Egg from inside the Bottle that have smaller opening than Egg:

Fill some water in the bottle and upset it. The ashes or pieces of paper will come out. Now, bring the bottle again to the upright position and blow strongly through its opening with your mouth. After blowing, quickly slant the bottle. The egg will come out of it. Wow! what a great fun! Isn't it?

Method of Taking Out an Egg from inside the Bottle

The scientific reason for which the egg gets thrusted into the bottle:

When the quantity of air inside the bottle decreases, the pressure decreases too. Consequently, as the external atmospheric pressure is higher than the internal one, it pushes the egg into the bottle.

The scientific reason for which the egg comes out:

The bottle was full of air from the very beginning i.e. before air was pimped into it with the mouth. The air pimped in this way was additional. As the additional air dashed with the base of the bottle and got pushed to the opposite direction, it help to push to the egg out of the bottle.
